寺遗址位于郧县城西约10公里，大部分被现代村庄占压，面积为5,000平方 米，文化堆积约为２米。先后三次发掘了约一百多平方米，共发掘灰坑４个，文化遗物陶、石、骨、蚌器若干件。其文化遣存、年代等，与青龙泉遗址相同。
