四川崇州羊马镇的“查渣面”，在川西坝子可谓家喻户晓。从羊马镇到成都周围的区县，甚至在北京、上海、深圳、武汉、兰州等一些大城市，都有打着“查渣面”招牌的小食店。
“查渣面”名字的由来--它的创始人查淑芳用卖不完的抄手馅用油炒干，第二天改作面的臊子使用。因为这种臊子炒干后既细又脆且香，形状虽像渣渣，但味道却特别鲜美酥香，顾客都喜欢吃这种“渣渣臊子面”。久而久之，人们干脆就将它称为“渣渣面”了，由于查淑芳姓查，所以叫“查渣面”。
查渣面之所以闻名遐迩，不仅仅在于它独特殊的名称，它的色、香、味、也很独特。
