钟山县古民居建筑群是明清时期所建，距今有四百多年的历史，是保存较完整的古民居建筑群。街道用石板铺成，房屋数百家，青砖盖瓦，街道内外，路无泥泞，行人无涉水之虑，颇具匠心，别具雅秀。文物古迹保存完好，自治区文化厅把它列为县级保护单位。
