| 楼阁 中国古代建筑中的多层建筑物。早期楼与阁有所区别，楼指重屋，多狭而修曲，在建筑群中处于次要位置；阁指下部架空、底层高悬的建筑，平面呈方形，两层，有平坐，在建筑群中居主要位置。后来楼与阁互通，无严格区分。楼阁多为木结构，构架形式有井傒式、重屋式、平坐式、通柱式等。佛教传入中国后，大量修建的佛塔即为楼阁建筑。
