| 长棘海星 Acanthaster planci；crown of thorns starfish 海星纲有棘目长棘海星科中的单型属和单型种。又名刺冠海星。个体大，辐径可达20厘米，腕9～20个，一般13～15个。反口面骨板间隔很宽，各板有一个长棘，棘下部有柄，棘上端十分尖锐。腕外端棘特别发达，长可达45～50毫米 。筛板6～8个 。全体红色 。栖息于印度洋-西太平洋区热带珊瑚礁环境，以石珊瑚水螅体为食。破坏珊瑚礁海岸。刺冠海星的天敌是法螺。刺冠海星是一种有毒的动物，人被棘刺后常生剧痛。 |
