In this paper, actuality of pulp consistency measuring has been analyzed in the paper making industry, and designing a method about the rotating-type pulp consistency transmitter based on 96-singlechip to settle the matter of pulp consistency measuring.

In order to resolve the unsteady concentration control brought by the pulp flow fluctuation due to valve operation, a new concentrationcontrol method is put forward based on the measurement of the increment relation between the concentration value and valve opening afteranalyzing the operation mechanism of the valve and concentration transmitter.
