1.又称火炕。北方人用土坯或砖头砌成的床。一般在室内的地上起灶，烧火做饭，烟火由火道通入炕下，利用余热取暖。比较讲究的人家，则在室内或室外掘一长方形的坑，于坑内砌灶，于地下引火至炕中专供取暖。不烧火时，坑上覆之以板。
