In the construction of underwater abutments of Beidou Bridge at Panyu, no concrete bedding was applied, instead sleeve pipes were built at steel protection of pile to stop water, and such steel protecting boxes were applied for bottom formwork of abutments, which has been proved successful.
在番禺北斗大桥主墩深水承台施工中,采用无封底混凝土层,仅在桩基钢护筒处设置止水套筒进行止水,直接利用钢套箱底板做承台底模,取得了成功。
