  不如蜜多。姓刹帝利。南印度王之次子。既得法于婆舍斯多。后行化至东印度。彼王名坚固。奉外道师长爪梵志。暨蜜多将至。王与梵志。同睹白气贯于上下。王曰。斯何瑞也。梵志曰。此魔来之兆耳。何瑞之有。即鸠徒众。议曰。不如蜜多将入都城。谁能挫之。弟子曰。我等各有咒术。可以动天地入水火。何患哉。蜜多至。见宫墙有黑气。乃曰。小难耳。直诣王所。王曰。师来何为。曰将度众生。王曰。以何法度。曰各以其类度之。时梵志闻言。不胜其忿。即以幻法。化一大山于蜜多顶上。蜜多指之。忽移化山。还压彼头。复以手按地。地动。五百外道皆不能立。梵志怖惧。忏礼蜜多。蜜多复按地。地静。指山。山灭。王异日大治斋。集诸外道。恳蜜多预会。蜜多初不欲行。而知所会地将陷。乃往。王喜曰。师肯来耶。蜜多曰。吾非应供。来救死耳。此地已为龙窟。须臾当下陷。王大恐。与其众俱如高原。反顾其地。已渊然成湫矣。王益敬信。蜜多乃为王演说法要。俾趣真乘。且曰。王国有圣人。当继我法。先是东印有婆罗门子。年二十。幼失殳母。不知名氏。或自言。璎珞人。遂名曰璎珞童子。丐行闾里。有问汝行何急。即曰。汝行何缓。问何姓。即曰。与汝同姓。人莫测之。一日王与蜜多。同车而出。璎珞稽首于前。蜜多曰。汝忆往事否。答曰。我忆往劫中与师同居。师演摩诃般若。我演甚深修多罗。今日之事。盖契昔因。蜜多谓王曰。此大势至菩萨也。继后出二人。一人化南印度。一人缘在震旦。九年却返此方。遂以昔因。名童子为般若多罗。付正法眼藏。偈曰。真性心地藏。无头亦无尾。应缘而化物。方便呼为智。蜜多既付法已。即辞王曰。吾化缘已终。当归寂灭。愿王于最上乘。无忘外护。即还本座。现形如日。少顷复呈十八变。出三昧火。自焚。雨金色舍利。王以金塔閟之。当此土晋武帝戊子岁也。
