| 康居 Kangch  中亚古国。居民可能是塞人的一支。操伊朗语。其疆域大致在今哈萨克斯坦南部及锡尔河中下游。东起楚河流域，西抵咸海。古时东接乌孙、西迄奄蔡，南临大月氏，东南界大宛。索格狄亚那地区似乎曾一度归属之。有关史实主要见于中国史籍。康居是最早同汉朝交往的中亚国家之一，李广利伐大宛时，康居曾出兵援救大宛；宣帝时，康居接纳西逃的匈奴郅支单于，帮助郅支抵抗汉军。东汉章帝时，班超攻疏勒，康居又派精兵相救。此外，康居虽曾一度受大月氏役使，但随其势力增大，不仅役使其周邻粟弋、奄蔡等国，还不断侵略大宛、乌孙。自东汉末年至东晋，有不少康姓僧侣来华译经，著名的有康巨、康孟祥、康僧会、康僧铠、康僧渊等。一般认为来者应为康居人，但也有人认为应是索格狄亚那人。 |
