| 曲靖市 位于中国云南省东北部。面积4352平方千米，市区面积11平方千米。别称麒麟城。1990年人口83.2万。汉族为主，有彝、回、苗等少数民族。秦时在此设官吏。西汉时设味县，蜀汉时置建宁郡。唐时设石城郡。元时设南宁县，为曲靖路治，明清时为曲靖府治。1913年南宁县改曲靖县，后又改南宁县。1983年南宁、沾益二县合并为曲靖市。气候温和，年均温14.5℃，年均降水量1008毫米。经济以农业为主，农产品有稻、玉米、小麦、烟草、油菜籽、薯类等。有煤、磷、瓷土等矿产。工业有电力、煤炭、钢铁、农机、化学等。名胜古迹有珠江源、天生洞、潇湘湖、翠峰山。 |
