采用文献资料、数理统计、逻辑分析和比较分析等方法,对我国和世界优秀男排运动员的年龄、身高、体重、克托莱指数和扣拦高度进行对比分析,得出我国男排队员的平均体重、克托莱指数和扣拦高度指标与世界优秀男排运动员相比存在非常显著性差异,我国对二传队员的选材、培养和使用理念上落后于世界排球强国。

从年龄、身高、体重、扣球高度、拦网高度和克托莱指数等6项非技术因素指标对中国女排与奥运会前8名欧美女排运动员进行综合对比分析,结果为:中国女排队员平均年龄和身高与对手不存在显著性差异,体重、扣球高度、拦网高度和克托莱指数存在显著性差异。
