A poem written by a scholar named CHEN Long-zhang from Guangnan who passed the imperial examination in Qing dynasty realistically described a performance called Shuaman watched by the author much likely in Funing when he returned to his hometown from Gong county of Henan.
清代乾隆年间广南举人陈龙章写的《上元节倮夷跳鸡酬唱贺年》竹枝词写得非常逼真感人,诗中描述的场面应该是他身临其境的亲见亲闻,很可能就是他从河南巩县因病回乡途中在富宁一带看到的"耍曼"表演。
