Equilibrium set equations for shore curves were used to calculate the three sections of shores from Yantian to Jinshan, Jinshan to Chenshan, and Chenshan to Qinshan along the northern coast of the Hangzhou Bay to get the theoretical locations of the shore lines, which were then copmared with the actual shore lines.
