福州林则徐广场位于福建省福州市仓山区白湖亭。林则徐广场原为街心小公园，后经政府扩建而成，面积只有2600多平方米。从上往下看俯视，林则徐广场呈等腰三角形的“犁头”形，“犁尖”朝南，矗立一块“金印”形状的大岩石，行书题刻“林则徐广场”5个字刚劲有力，很好地刻划出了英雄人物的果敢、刚强。
林则徐铜像高约7米，顶天立地地站在近2米的大基台上，穿着长衫，一手捋着飘在胸前的胡须，一手背在身后。老人那古铜色的脸庞上载满的是沧桑？还是对当时世态的一种无奈？那紧锁的眉头，那炯炯有神的眼光，那肃穆庄严的神情是在对现代人讲诉着什么吗？我与老人对视着，一起思考着，一起在用心交流着。一股激流从老人那慈祥而又庄重的眼神奔涌过来，让我全身就似经过一次清水的洗涤——这是心的洗涤！老人身后的手上拿着一本书，那是他当时作为第一个“开眼看世界”而看、而译、而倾注了多少希冀的《四洲志》！铜像后的大围屏上让人依稀看到虎门销烟的滚滚烟雾和人民的欢欣笑脸。前者已是历史，后者则延续着。
