天津市津南农业科技园区，1998年建于天津市津南区八里台镇,津港公路28-30公里处。位于华北平原北端，北纬39。04’，东经117。33’,地势平坦,距天津港25公里，距天津滨海国际机场15公里，交通便利园区地处华北平原北端，属暖温带湿润大陆性季风气候,四季分明，年平均气温121℃。1月份最冷，平均气温49℃，最低气温零下10℃左右。7月份最热，月平均257℃，最高气温35℃。年平均日照时数26389小时，无霜期201天左右。年平均降水量5541毫米。年平均湿度50%。70%的降水集中在7、8月份。年平均风速37米/秒，冬季多西北风，春夏季多西南风，形成冬季干冷，夏季湿热的自然气象因素。土壤条件为海积与河流冲积平原，属轻粘壤土，土壤耕层有机质含量为15%,全氮含量0083%，全磷含量0125%，全钾含量43%，ph值为72，土壤含盐量015%，适合各种农作物生长以及开展绿色食品的生产。
