为百合科植物玉簪花的叶或全草。植物形态详"玉簪花"条。
【性味】
《纲目》："甘辛，寒，有毒。"
【功用主治】
治痈肿，疔疮，蛇虫伤。 ①《纲目》："蛇虺螫伤，捣汁和酒撮，以渣敷之。中心留孔泄气。" ②《中国药植图鉴》："全草外敷，治乳痈疔疮，顽固性溃疡。" ③江西《草药手册》："全草治吐血，解斑蝥毒。"
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，鲜用1～3钱；或捣汁和酒服。外用：捣敷或捣汁滴耳。
【选方】
①治乳腺炎：玉簪全草一两，菠菜二两。煎服。(江西《草药手册》) ②治乳痈，疮毒，蛇咬：玉簪鲜草洗净，捣烂外敷。(《上海常用中草药》) ③治耳内流脓：玉簪鲜草洗净，捣汁滴耳。(《上海常用中草药》) ④治顽固性溃疡：鲜玉簪叶，洗净后用米汤或开水泡软，贴患处，日换二、三次。(《福建民间草药》)
