制备方法：磺胺噻唑（ST）与苯酐进行酰化反应即得粗PST，经精制得到成品。将ST及苯酐充分混匀，140℃反应1.5h。将所得粗品加入水中，用液碱调节pH至8，全溶后在40℃加活性炭脱色半小时，过滤，滤液用盐酸中和至pH=5-6，过滤，洗涤滤饼，干燥、粉碎得成品PST。
用途：磺胺类药，用于细菌性痢疾、细菌性溃疡性肠炎。
