During the process of large highspeed landslide in the set-out range,due to the lock segment suddenly snipped,shearing stress is released and thus pore water pressure is suddenly increased,which may produce a very high increase in temperature,convert the water in sliding zone into vapor and create steam pressure.
大型高速滑坡在启程活动阶段中,由于锁固段突然被剪断,高度集中的剪应力突然被释放,常出现孔隙水压力突然增大;同时,饱水的滑带由于强烈的高速摩擦,使滑面附近产生高温,并使滑带水突然汽化,产生巨大的水汽化压力;孔隙水压力与水汽化压力耦合,使作用在滑面上有效应力减小。

保良局庄启程预科书院
保良局庄启程预科书院 (英文: po leung kuk vicwood k. t. chong sixth form college)，是香港的一家中学。 它是全政府津贴预科书院，由保良局管理。校址在香港九龙大角咀柳树街12号。
历史
庄启程预科书院的地址前身是「诗歌舞街官立学校」及胡忠中学旧址，在1991年创立。 得蒙保良局庚午年主席庄启程捐拨100万港元开办经费而成立。
★预科收生
因为香港每所中学的中六学额均少于中五会考合格学生，故每年会考皆有不少学生未能原校升读中六之下，在每年八月初的会考放榜日前，不少学生家长在书院门口排队，为求先取得面试机会以被录取报读中六预科课程。但当中亦有可原校升读的学生前往报名。故每年会考放榜前后也是传媒采访的主要对象。
2005年该校从3000多份申请录取398人，文、理科入学成绩最低录取分数为15分，平均为19～23分。2006年该校开办12班中六共提供360个学位，为避免排队轮候的状况，今年放榜当日该校门上贴有「本校中六学位不是先到先得，有会考成绩才接受申请」告示，并于早上9:00后派发入学申请表格。
文、理（生物）、理（数学）及商科每级各设三班，中六及中七共二十四班。
★将来发展
教统局在09年推行「三三四」学制后，取消中五会考，保良局庄启程预科书院亦要转型，获教统局批准与唐乃勤中学结龙，唐乃勤中学易名为「初中书院」。
