| 狮子岩壁画 Sigiriya，Murals at 斯里兰卡的古代佛教壁画 。在康提城东北。作于5世纪末或6世纪初。发现于19世纪。狮子岩为一石山，传说斯里兰卡古王迦叶波一世曾在此建城堡，将盘山道旁岩窟辟为居室廊庑并施彩画。后宫殿毁坏，壁画仍有部分遗存，主要分布在山腰的4个洞窟中。现清晰可见者仅20余处，均为飞天仙女和女神之类，有些可能是古代斯里兰卡神话传说中的雷电公主和云雾女郎。所绘与印度古典壁画风格相近，但人物鼻梁直而狭长，具有古代斯里兰卡人的特征。 |
