性质:以碳作负极材料,以含锂过渡金属氧化物作正极材料,以有机电解液为电解质的蓄电池体系。该电池是在充分研究了锂离子在碳材中嵌入与脱嵌机理的基础上获得发展的,由于以碳代锂一定程度上改善了锂蓄电池的安全性。该电池所用的碳材料有石油焦炭、石墨、碳纤维和碳微珠等。正极材料有LiCoO2、LiNiO2和LiMn2O4等,充电时锂离子由正极迁移到负极,放电时再由负极迁移到正极,故也称摇椅式蓄电池。锂离子电池除了比能量高、安全性较好外,其充放电寿命也较长。1992年日本首先推出商品电池用作移动电话、8mm摄像机的电源。
