Fengshun County, located in the northeast of Guangdong Province is characterized by its high average elevation (the highest in the eastern part of Guangdong), the mountainous and hilly land, and the numerous hot springs and waterfalls.

The natural tourism resources and cultural tourism resources are rich and unique in Fengshun county,an aggressive growth of tourist industry will be significant role in promoting to social economy and cultural development in Fengshun country.

An ecological footprint model was used to make quantitative and qualitative analyses of the eco—environmental effects in Fengdu county located in the Three—Gorges Reservoir Area in 2004,so as to provide reference for the work of protection of the ecological environment in the Reservoir Area,including Fengdu county.
