队长机或指挥官用机是指在战场上第一缐的指挥军官所搭乘的载具(如飞机、机动步兵、战车等)，在任务编队中，队长机要负责临机应变指示僚机使用的战术阵形。在军事写实派的科幻作品中队长机是很重要的要素。现实生活中，因各单位长官时常忙於各种文书作业，这些所谓"队长机"在平时通常会指派给其他队员轮流驾驶。
军事上
在军事上，队长机代表两方面的意义：
一个是部队编制上，固定分配给某一个阶层指挥官的载具，譬如说战车连连长的专属战车，战斗机中队长的座机等。
另外一个是任务编制上，在该次任务当中担任指挥角色的军人搭乘的载具，譬如说现代战机编队当中的长机。每一次任务编队都可能是不同的人担任长机的位置，而每一项任务当中也可能有超过一个以上的编队，每一个编队都会有各自的长机。
队长机较为常见的使用场合在描述任务编队当中的长机。
科幻作品
机动战士钢弹
在一年战争中，吉翁的许多ace（击坠王牌）都有针对其使用习惯开发的队长专用机，最著名的是夏亚·阿兹纳布尔所搭乘的数架红色有角的专用机（也是gundam系列的戏仿老笑话主要来源）。
