氢氧化铁化学式Fe(OH)3,分子量106.87。红棕色无定形粉末,密度3.44~3.6g/cm3。不溶于水。加热时分解成氧化铁和水。略具两性,碱性强于酸性。新制的易溶于酸,稍加放置后则难溶。新制的能溶于强碱溶液生成铁酸盐。用作颜料、药物和砷的解毒剂。由铁盐溶液跟氨水反应制得。
