关门海峡
日本本州西端山口县下关市与九州北端北九州市门司区之间的水域,濑户内海的西门户。古西日本海陆交通要冲。旧称“下关海峡”或“马关海峡”。中央水道深15—20米,西部在10米以下。东北端最狭处约700米。1942年和1944年两条铁路隧道凿通,下条长3,614米,上条长3,605米 (海底长1,140米)。1958年公路隧道(在东部)凿通,延长3,460米,宽4—7.5米。新“关门隧道”和海上大桥已开工修建。
