【行业分析]行业是由一群企业组成的。这些企业由于其产品或劳务的高度可相互替代性而彼此紧密联合在一起，并且由于产品替代性差异而与其他企业群体相区别。行业分析具有非常重要的意义。 1.它是国民经济形势分析的具体化。我们根据国民生产总值等指标可以知道或预测某个时期整个经济状况。但是整个经济状况与构成经济总体的各个行业的状况并非完全吻合。整个经济形势的好坏，只能说明大部分行业的形势的好坏，而不是每个行业都与之相应的好坏。即使是顺经济风向而动的行业，也存在变动幅度的相互差异。所以，只有进行行业分析，我们才能更加明确地知道某个行业的发展状况，它处于生命周期的位置，并据此作出正确的证券投资决策。 2.进行行业分析，可以更好地为企业分析莫定基础。行业是由许多同类企业1嫉戈的群体。如果只进行企业分析，无法通过横向比较知道目前企业在行业中的位置，而这在充满高度竞争的现代经济中是非常重要的，所谓“知己知彼，百战不殆”。就是这个道理。另外，行业所处生命周期位置制约着或决定企业的生存和发展，如果某个行业处于衰退期，则这个行业中的企业，不管资产多么雄厚，经营管理能力多么强，都不能摆脱其阴暗的前景。
