In 2002 Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County government proposed firstly the construction of Green Food Sci-Tech Demonstration County supported by State Council and Department of Agriculture of Guangdong Province.

| 江华瑶族自治县 在中国湖南省南部，潇水流域。人口33.52万，瑶族约占46％，壮族约占 3％，余为汉族。唐武德四年(621)析冯乘县置江华县。1995年改为江华瑶族自治县。1968年后属零陵地区。1985年11月县人民政府由水口镇迁沱江镇。为全省重点林区，森林覆盖率57％。林产有杉、松、南竹、山苍子、油桐、油茶、紫胶、松脂、茶叶等。农作物有水稻、玉米、甘薯、烟草等。矿产有锡、铅、锌、钨、金、水晶、磷、独居石等。工业有采矿、机械、化工、水泥、木材加工等。名胜古迹有阳华岩、豸山寺。 |
