| 图像通信 image communication 利用电磁波作载体，通过光电变换、处理、扫描等技术来实现声像、文字远距离传播与交换的通信方式。与传统的电报和电话通信相区别，图像通信系统所传输的信息往往既包含声音、文字，又包含各种图形和图像，从静止的黑白图像到活动的高清晰度的彩色图像。因此，图像通信一般意味着宽（频）带通信；它比电报电话通信所传输的信息量更加宏大，更加丰富多彩。在技术原理上，图像通信与电话通信有许多相似之处，只是这里需要光电变换技术来实现光学图像向电信号的转变，需要扫描技术来实现时空四维空间向一维时间信号序列的转换，以及为了节约传输信道带宽需要编码压缩技术来实现图像信号的数据压缩等。图像通信的具体方式很多，可视电话、可视图文、会议电视等等都是这类业务的例子。 |
