| 开原市 位于中国辽宁省东北部。1990年人口58.75万。汉族为主，有满、回、朝鲜、蒙古、藏、彝、壮、布依、白等14个少数民族和一个未识别的民族。面积3164.8平方千米，秦属辽东郡。两汉、三国、两晋属扶馀国。南北朝属高句丽。隋及唐初属高丽，后属安东都护府。713年后属渤海国。926年辽平渤海后属黄龙府，明洪武二十一年(1388)改开元为开原，置三万卫。清康熙三年(1664)设开原县。1988年12月撤县设市。开原市矿产有煤、石灰石、大理石、建筑材料、铁、铜、铅、锌、镍、金等。野生动物有狼、狍子、野鸡、野鸭、獾子、黄鼬等。名胜古迹有老城古塔等。是辽宁省的重要商品粮基地之一。 |
