| 谢东闵（1907～ ） 字求生。中国台湾彰化人。早年曾在上海东吴大学、中山大学等校就读。抗战期间，任职于《广西日报》及中国国民党直属台湾党部，宣传抗日。1945年6月，当选为国民党第六次全国代表大会唯一台籍代表。曾被任命为高雄州接管委员会主任委员，转任高雄县首任县长。后历任国民党中央委员会副秘书长、台湾省政府委员兼秘书长、省议会副议长和议长等职，并当选国民党中央委员及中央常务委员。除党政工作外，曾先后兼任台湾省合作金库理事长、台湾《新生报》董事长、“中国青年反共救国团”副主任、省立师范学院院长。1958年3月创办实践家政专科学校。1972年6月起，出任台湾省“主席”。1978年任台湾“副总统”，1984年卸职。 |
