This paper introduces the necessity of strengthening the subcontract management in the construction engineering project,probes into the models and contents of the subcontract management,and looks forward to the future subcontract management in the construction engineering project.

Using quality control, schedulecontrol and investment control (three major controls) as management target, some issues on choice of subcontractors,purchase and construction for this project are discussed.
