两路口镇地处川西平原西部郫县西。距成都市30公里，国道213线纵剖镇域，走马河流经镇区，镇内有2.1万亩耕地，有1.7万人口。镇域总面积24.7平方公里。境内粮田肥沃，沟渠纵横，气候温和宜人。 主要农土特产品有“永兴食用菌”、“东风牛角椒”和“黄龙红油菜”。年产量分别在1500吨，900吨，50吨，有各种名贵桩头盆景，苗木花卉，其占地320亩，特别是“永兴园”的“醒狮”盆景享誉昆明“世博会”。全年正种蔬菜1200亩，有着120木韭菜，大棚蔬菜40亩，小家禽出栏27万头，禽蛋120吨，生猪2.01万头。 两条成灌公路并行境内，交通非常便利，是重要的农副产品产地和集散地。
