This article expounds on the grammatical phenomenon of in Old Chinese through analysing such grammatical constructions as"attribute-headword"structure, "adverbial-headword"structure and"verb-complement"structure, and queries the validity of the theory of "flexible usage".

It s argued in this paper that the singular and plural form and the flexible usage of certain pronouns in Sui county dialect reflects to a certain extent the distinguishing feature of district culture in language form.

This article has analyzed the relevant formulation and example sentences of flexible use of words in the Chinese textbook of middle school, and has discussed about the “original use”and “flexible use”,as well as the poly-meaning, and double types of words.
