In this paper,the general situation of the area along the abandoned channel of the Yellow River is introduced,the present situation of utilizing and relative problems of the bench land are analyzed,especially the utilizing model of the resources development is discussed,such as dividing the bench land according to the different functions.

This article discussed the resources attributes of peat and summarized the basic physical and chemical character of peat , and the request ment of the peat characters for peat utilization .
