广东惠东港口海龟国家级自然保护区
位于广东省惠东县境内，面积800公顷，1986年经广东省人民政府批准建立，1992年晋升为国家级，主要保护对象为海龟及其产卵繁殖地。
本区属亚热带海洋性气候，地处大亚湾与红海湾交界处，东北西三面环山，南面濒海，为一东西长1000米，南北宽70米的沙滩带，近岸水深10-15米，海底平坦，饵料丰富，是海龟的传统产卵场，也是南海北部大陆沿岸唯一的产卵场。海龟属国家二级重点保护野生动物，由于长期随意捕杀和挖取龟卵，已面临濒危境地，该保护区的建立对保护和恢复海龟种群具有重要意义。
