gUQngyU xinxi fuwu xltong广域信息服务系统《wide area infon朴ationserver,WAIS)因特网上的一种易于检索并可获取远程数据文档的动态超文本系统。WAIS采用客户一服务器模式和239.50协议标准,特别适用于基于关键字的信息查询。 WAIS可以有3种使用方式:①远程登录;②本地运行WAIS客户机;③通过G甲her进人WAIS。WAIS检索时,会显示出一个提示表,表中将要查找的文档按相关性,从高到低顺序列出提示信息,相关性的次序是以文档中出现检索字的次数来计算的。 WAIS允许用户搜索和检索在网上的任何数据库的信息。用户使用关键字检索WAIS服务器中相应文档,服务器列出含有该关键字的文档清单,用户再发送需要复制的相应文档名,即可获取所需的文档。(胡道元)
