电影分级制度
电影分级制度在国外，电影部门和电影企业，为了避免由于影片内容而引起法律纠纷，大都定有电影分级制度，说明影片内容适合什么年龄的观众观看。美国好莱坞最先实行影片分级制度。1968年，美国电影制片人和发行人协会对美国拍摄的影片定为4级:①G级，普通级，即所有的人都可观看。②M级，16岁以下的观众观看。1970年，M级改为GP级，即适于一般观众观看。后GP级又改为PG级，即引导级，指电影有一些惊险境头，少年儿童须在父母带领下方可观看。③R级，限制级，适于18岁以上的观众观看。后来又改为在父母陪伴和监护下，17岁以下的少年也可观看。④X级，开始只适于21岁以上的观众，后又改为限17岁以上的观众观看。英国影片也分为4级:①U级，所有的人都能观看。②A级，不限制，但可能有副作用，16岁以下儿童没有父母等人陪同不得观看。③AA级，限14岁以上观众观看。④X级，16岁以下少年儿童不能观看。另外，H级指恐怖片，儿童禁看。1942年，英国禁止一切H级影片生产，H级因此取消。法国影片一般分3级:①老少皆宜;②禁止13岁以下儿童观看;③禁止18岁以下青少年观看。日本电影不受国家机关的审查，但要经过电影业自设机关电影规范道德管理委员会的审查。该会把影片划分为3种:①适合一般观众。②只作一般限制，中学生以下禁止入场。③只限成人观看，18岁以下禁止入场。香港在1988年根据电影检查条例对影片分级作如下规定:①准许任何年龄人士观看。②准许给儿童以外任何年龄人士观看。③只准年满18岁以上观众观看。中国，近年来对影片的放映管理也在逐年加强。
