  式中力阻Rm是描述振动系统中摩擦阻尼的量;M是物体的质量,它是描述振动系统中惯性大小的量;力顺Cm是描述振动系统中弹性的量;ω是力的圆频率;。
  
  在阻抗类比网络中,力阻抗、力阻、质量和力顺分别相应于电学系统中的电阻抗、电阻、电感和电容。严格地说,力阻抗只适用于稳恒状态下单频率的量。但在习惯上有时把力阻抗推广应用到非正弦或非线性振动系统中。
  
  机械振动系统中,某一点的力导纳是该点速度与作用于这一点力的复数比值。它等于力阻抗的倒数。力导纳的实部称为力导,虚部称为力纳。
