Realization low lift water supply through installing pump at concentration equipment layer on high-rise building;

The post-evaluating indexes of pump performances of large low-lift pumps in the Eastern Route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project in first stage were put forward,which would help progress with high quality and standard in purchasing,supervising,installation and acceptance check of pump.

According to the idea of diversification in studying hydraulic performance of low head pump system,a new method to separate outlet conduit from the pump system is presented to simulate its flow pattern and calculate its hydraulic loss.

Aiming at the problems existed in a straight outlet of the pumping station with low head, method of 3D turbulent numerical calculation was applied to optimize the straight outlet, and method of model test of transparent outlet was also applied to verify the calculation results.
