  粗分(r aw score)测验中的许多标准分(如Z分,T分,标准9,标准10,百分位等)都是从粗分转换而来。粗分是受试者在测验项目中直接得到的分数。它是转化其他标准分的基础,但无解释意义。例如,韦氏测验中常识分测验的粗分是回答常识项目的直接分,是一个绝对值,它的意义只能表明它比该测验的最高分少了多少;而这种减少程度是在正常范围,还是低于正常或高于正常,都不得而知。只有经过转换成量表分后才有初步解释意义,因为可与同年龄同性别等的受试者进行比较,如果再换算成智商,意义更加明了。但要标准分解释正确,非有准确的粗分不可,故获得准确的粗分是测验的主要任务。 (龚雄先撰林传燕审)
