After the argumentation of the necessity of the setting of the 35 kVbus differential protection,The paper introduces the basic principle of the differential protection which makes use of the electromagnetic differential relay BCH-2 as the fault distinguishing element,and utilizes the voltage relay as the bus zone selecting elements.
