With a summary of the concept and basic features of UMT network,this paper discusses the managerial system,operation organization mode and service mode on Shanghai UMT network.

The article sets forth the background to study the construction of the express road traffic of Middle Ring Line(Pudong Section)in Shanghai,expounds the necessity and analyzes the feasibility of this construction scheme,and also makes the relative study of its operating organization.
