According to heat loss of thermal network pipes per meter stated by nation,thickness of thermal insulating layer varying with thermal conductivity of insulating material and temperature of working pair is studied by numerical calculation.

Surface defects have observed on outside surface of four hot reheat steam pipe bends,on the basis of the performed inspections and analysis,conclusion have been made as follows :the defects observed on outside surface of the four pipe bends are laps which can be attributed to improper heating the ingots and improper rolling parameters.
