Analysis of errors induced by angle tuning in direct detection Doppler wind lidar

The angle tuning curve and the effective nonlinear coefficient ofⅡ(B)KTP optical parametric oscillator(OPO)are given.

The initial operating position was set by means of tuning Fabry-Pérot etalon angle,and the accuracy of angle tuning was 10 μrad.

Study on Angle-tuned Optical Parametric Oscillator Based on Periodically Poled Lithium Niobate;

An angle-tuned quasi-phase-matched(QPM) optical parametric oscillator,which uses periodically poled LiNbO3(PPLN) with a single grating period and pumped by a 1 064 nm acousto-optically Q-switched Nd:YVO4 laser,was presented.

To address these problems, this dissertation proposes Doppler wind lidar based on passively Q-switched laser in twisted mode folded cavity and angle-tuned F-P etalon, and performs theoretical and experimental studies.

Based on the calculation and discussion on the phase-matching,walk-off angle,acceptance angle and effective nonlinear coefficient for the KTP crystal,and on the numerical simulations of the angle-tuning curve and gain curve,the tuning spectrum and cutting angle of the KTP was finally established as 1.
