巴列霍（1892～1938） 秘鲁作家。生于北部山区的圣地亚哥·德·丘科，卒于巴黎。父亲是西班牙人后裔，母亲是印第安人。中学未毕业就自谋生路，当过乡村教师和厂矿职员。1913年入省会特鲁西略城自由大学哲学文学系攻读文学，两年后改学法律。曾参加文学团体北方社，早期诗作受到该团体悲观主义影响。1918年定居利马当新闻记者，开始文学创作。同年发表第一部诗集《黑色的使者》，有象征主义和现代主义痕迹，也有表现印第安土著民族疾苦的诗句。1920年因思想激进被捕入狱，数月后获释。狱中写成短篇小说集《音阶》和诗集《特里尔塞》中的许多诗篇。 1923年前往法国，后流亡欧洲。1927 年加入西班牙共产党 。1928、1929 年两度访问苏联。在此期间， 他在报刊发表大量文章， 并创作中篇小说《 钨矿》。1930年去西班牙，在西班牙内战中投入反法西斯斗争。诗集《西班牙，我饮不下这杯苦酒》就是这时期的作品。死后发表的另一部诗集《人类的诗篇》包括他在1923年以后创作的其他所有诗歌。 巴列霍是拉丁美洲有影响的诗人，诗作具有鲜明的拉美特色，把现代主义与民族传统结合起来，激情奔放，风格清新明快。《特里尔塞》对诗歌形式作了新的探索，突破了传统的语言结构和思维逻辑，初版并未引起注意，1931年再版时引起文坛重视和赞赏。《西班牙，我饮不下这杯苦酒》描写西班牙反法西斯战争，表达了对西班牙人民的热爱和对法西斯的憎恨。 |
