天山坡，据《富顺县志》记载，原名尖山坡，相传有仙女下凡到尖山坡，治妖除害，于是被百姓称为"天山坡"。该风景区地处富顺县起凤乡、兜山镇、毛桥乡、安溪镇之间，（四）川云（南）中路与泸（州）自（贡）路形成的夹角内，此处亦是自贡、宜宾、泸州三市的交界得。
天山坡是自贡市境内唯一喀斯特大型风景区，直径九公里。该景区内溶洞成群，洞内有各种次生化学沉积形态物（即钟乳石类），变化多姿，形态诡奇；三座最高山峰（即天山坡、中山、云盘山），海拔均为5 9 7 米，三座山构成一座笔架山。
公元十五世纪前后，该处建寺庙约3 2 座。风景区内已建有楠木林、风景林、枇杷园、蜜柚林、花椒林。拟开发：观景塔、游览亭、经济作物园、游乐园，融塔、亭园、村落为一体；度假村；按主次开发仙鹅洞、神仙洞、九龙洞等溶洞。
