利用固接在牵引链上的刮板在敞开的料槽中刮运散状物料的输送机。它由敞开料槽﹑牵引链﹑刮板﹑头部驱动链轮和尾部张紧链轮等组成。牵引链绕过头﹑尾链轮构成闭合环路。物料可用上分支或下分支输送﹐也可用上﹑下两分支同时输送。牵引链多用圆环链。可以用一根牵引链与刮板中部联接﹐也可用两根牵引链与刮板两端联接(见图 刮板输送机的结构 )。刮板的形状为梯形﹑长方形或长条形。刮板输送机有固定式和移置式两种。移置式刮板输送机的各部件易于拆装﹐移位后重新安装使用。刮板输送机的优点是﹕结构简单牢固﹐精度要求较低﹐装载和卸载方便﹐高度小﹐特别适用于井下。缺点是易碾碎物料﹑噪声和能耗较大。这种输送机大多用于煤炭工业﹐输送能力一般为30~120吨/时﹐链条速度一般为0.3~1.0米/秒﹐输送长度可达200米。
