This paper introduces the general situation of the construction of the new sluice of Dongtai River,Yancheng City,and probes into the construction organization and the application of the sand-dredger-fill technology with woven bag in the construction operation.

Through comparison of the structure of the lattice steel pile,the double row of sheet-pile,and the polypropylene woven bag filled with sand,the appropriate type of polypropylene woven bag filled with sand was adopted for the dock-gate cofferdam of the Cosco Qidong marine base.
