性质:硝酸铵和燃料油及其他附加剂(固体可燃物、表面活性剂等)组成的混合炸药,通常以零氧平衡原则确定各组分配比。根据用途分为煤矿型,岩石型及露天型三类,或根据工艺简单,成本低廉,生产使用安全,被称为“简单炸药”或“廉价炸药”。缺点是起爆感度低(需用传爆药引爆),不抗水,易产生静电,爆炸能量低于铵梯炸药。含94%硝酸铵及6%柴油的铵油炸药,爆速2.0~3.0km/s,爆热3.7~5.2MJ/kg,爆温2200~2700℃,爆容约970L/kg,猛度5~8mm(铅柱压缩值),做功能力310~330ml(铅寿扩孔值),5kg落锤不发生爆炸的最大落高大于50cm。可在炮孔中或布袋中制备,或在固定设备中混制。适用于露天矿、无沼气和无煤尘爆炸危险的矿井和硐室爆破。
