Now,the importance of ontology evolution has been recognized widely,but there are still many disadvantages at evolution support within existing ontology editors,especially the analysis and reservation of the reason of evolution.

Today,researches of ontology evolution mainly focus on how to satisfy the change requirements and maintain the consistency of an evolving ontology.

This paper proposes an ontology evolution management framework MFI-3,which consists of kernel model,change model,constrain model,evolution information model and change propagation model.
